The Raleigh/Wake Partnership to End Homelessness (RWPEH or the Partnership) believes in the power of collaboration and community to solve the problem of homelessness. Because it envisions every partner empowered to foster a healthy, compassionate Wake County where everyone is housed and feels valued, the Partnership is working to spark radical change around the problem of homelessness by investing in our community and acting as a catalyst to increase the effectiveness of community partners through education, data, and advocacy to end homelessness. 

RWPEH is a service system that works through the power of partnerships and collaboration to end and prevent homelessness in the area. The Partnership serves as the lead agency for the Raleigh/Wake Continuum of Care (CoC), consisting of city, county, private non-profits, faith-based organizations, K-12 educators, local colleges, and businesses that work together to develop and implement strategic measures to end and prevent homelessness for Raleigh/Wake County. 

The Partnership manages the Coordinated Access System and Homeless Management Information System (HMIS) functions for the Raleigh/Wake CoC, and works to bring together committees and work groups, improve housing and crisis response services, collect data, maintain partnerships, and increase public awareness, education, and advocacy. 

Established in 2006, the Partnership operates with an annual budget of $1M and serves as the collaborative applicant for $4M+ in HUD funding through the NOFA process.

What will you do as RWPEH’s next Executive Director? 

Reporting to the Board of Directors, the Executive Director (ED) is responsible for the overall leadership of the Partnership, guiding the organization’s operations, growth, and sustainability. The ED will be the Partnership’s chief advocate, spokesperson, and relationship builder. 

The Partnership’s ideal Executive Director candidate will be a relationship-oriented individual who has successful and verifiable experience cultivating partnerships, building consensus, and driving process.
