Position Summary: This position is responsible for overseeing and supporting up to five Property Managers. The Property Supervisor supports staff in ensuring properties within their assigned portfolio are financially sound, well maintained according to SAHA standards, and comply with requirements outlined in their regulatory agreements. In addition, the position oversees staff development & matters including but not limited to: recruitment, on-going performance management, training & staff development, coaching & mentoring, and separation of staff in accordance with SAHA practices and procedures. The position may also assists with special departmental projects as assigned based on level of skill and availability.

Location: This position works at SAHA’s Main Office in Berkeley. If desired this position will be permitted to work a hybrid on-site/remote schedule. Additionally frequent travel throughout the bay area to the Property Supervisor’s portfolio of properties is required.
Compensation: The salary range for this position begins at $90,000 annually. Starting offers may be higher, depending on experience, education, and relative comparisons to current staff.

Education & Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, is preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience. Informal supervisory or leadership experience may count towards part of this required, depending on the relevance.
- Must demonstrate knowledge of applicable local and federal housing laws, including Fair Housing and Landlord & Tenant Laws.
- Must demonstrate knowledge of affordable housing funding and programs, such as HUD, TCAC, Section 8, etc.
- Must demonstrate knowledge of property management, including building maintenance, financials, and day to day operations.
- Must be proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook).
