Essential Duties and Responsibilities
In this position, you will interpret, evaluate, and apply policies, procedures and regulations or revise, modify or develop policies and procedures to improve efficiencies in response to community needs and keep abreast of changes in relevant regulations and law. In addition, you will be responsible for the procurement function and staff including the review and assessment of contracting and procurement operations and objectives to evaluate their efficiency, effectiveness and suitability relative to current procurement conditions and regulations. This key position serves a critical role in the update of the Agency’s annual plans as well as ensuring timely responses to public records requests.
Competencies and Qualifications
The ideal candidate for this position is a critical thinking and service oriented analyst, who possesses effective supervision, negotiation, planning and organizational skills. Qualified candidates will possess a Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, public administration, or related field and five years of experience in program analysis, management analysis or auditing, with at least 2 years of supervisory experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. This position requires possession and maintenance of a valid California Driver’s License.
