Job Description

The Project Development Manager will originate and coordinate all development tasks necessary for successful LIHTC developments in Texas & surrounding states. Working, remotely from home, the project development manager will identify sites, underwrite development sources and uses, oversee LIHTC applications, and work with equity investors and lenders through the closing process.

Responsibilities:
 Review and summarize state specific QAP’s
 Identify and analyze potential sites for new construction developments and acquisition targets for acquisition-rehab developments.
 Negotiate terms for site control of development sites
 Work with local civic leaders for support of a development and coordinate all related community approvals.
 Attend state specific QAP training meetings.
 Underwrite development project budgets.
 Work with other development team members to assemble and submit competitive LIHTC applications.
 Work with equity investors and lenders for construction and permanent development financing sources.

Qualifications:

 Bachelor’s degree
 Experience in and knowledge of the LIHTC process
 Ability to work independently
 Excellent analytical skills
 Strong written and verbal skills
 Ability to address public meetings and meet with public officials
 Strong software computing skills with Microsoft Office programs and other programs.
