Housing Authority of the County of Alameda (located in Hayward) is currently recruiting for a Housing Programs Manager.

Responsibilities:

This is a management position reporting to the Executive Director and is responsible for supervising 30 subordinate staff. Key responsibilities include:  program management activities for the Housing Choice Voucher Program, Preserving Alameda County Housing, Inc. (HACA’s non-profit entity), reasonable accommodation requests and property management of all HACA-owned units and oversees all HQS quality control inspections.

Requires:

A Bachelor’s Degree in public administration or related field may be substituted for 2 years of required experience and an Associate’s Degree for 1 year of required experience AND 4 years’ experience management of a governmental housing or social welfare program or residential rental property management at least one year of which has been in a supervisory capacity.
