AHA is opening a recruitment for a Housing Specialist II position in the Property Operations Department supporting property management functions. This is the journey level class in the Housing Specialist series, responsible for performing a variety of specialized technical and clerical work related to the Housing Authority’s provision of housing assistance. Incumbents perform difficult and complex duties in accordance with established policies and procedures for the Property Operations Department. At this level, a certain amount of independence has been reached. Assignment specialties may include marketing units, certifying eligibility, issuing rent increases, tenant communications, waiting list maintenance, reexaminations, or inspections. Actual responsibilities vary according to assignments.
This position will be offered on a 72 hours per pay period schedule (9 8-hour work days with every other Friday off).
