Our team fulfills a critical function at Capital Realty Group helping to source, underwrite, and execute transactional activity, acquiring new properties and financing redevelopment projects. The team also plays a key role providing analytical support to help successfully guide a development project through design, construction, lease-up and stabilization.
The applicant will responsible to assist with the underwriting, due diligence analysis, and structuring developments either through LIHTC or Conventional executions, from the early stages through acquisition and completion of project redevelopments.
The work requiring analysis, using originality and ingenuity to process information in a timely manner, while working with third party consultants, architects, engineers and assisting the Principals and team environment to expand our portfolio.
On a day to day basis, the candidate can expect to be asked to:
Underwrite financials and create models to evaluate acquisition opportunities and structuring their financing.
Help source and secure available public benefits, negotiating Tax Abatements, financing, soft funds etc.
Assisting with assembling project teams, and providing information to the team members to keep projects moving
Working with third party consultants, Appraisers, architects, engineers etc to ensure projects success
Other Projects — as necessary.
We expect a candidate to have the followings skills:
Due Diligence analysis
Underwriting and LIHTC Financial Modeling Experience
Working with Lenders and checklists
The successful candidate will have:
-Strong credit and financial analysis skills.
-Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate effectively.
— At least 3 years of experience in structuring, underwriting, and closing affordable housing transactions utilizing the Low Income Tax Credit (LIHTC) Program
Salary & Benefits:
Salary range from $250,000 + and is commensurate with experience,
Potential partnership equity in new transactions after meeting threshold criteria
