Job Description

Under general supervision, the Maintenance Specialist responds to the public and Housing Authority residents’ telephone questions, complaints and service requests; diagnoses maintenance problems over the phone; prepares and processes work orders; fields phone calls and assists the public at the Housing Authority to resolve issues effectively; and performs other related work as required. The Maintenance Specialist holds the primary responsibility for daily operation of AHA’s work order system including opening, monitoring, and closing work orders, and preparation of status reports.

This position will be hired on a 72 hours per pay period schedule (9 8-hour work days with every other Friday off).
