Fresno Housing is looking for a detail oriented, analytical, and inquisitive Senior Financial Analyst to manage the Agency operating budget as well as provide key financial reports to leadership in order to make informed decisions. This position requires strong communication skills as this person will be communicating with internal and external stakeholders about significant goals, concepts, and initiatives for the Agency.
The Senior Financial Analyst is a highly visible role within our organization; you will work cross-functionally with all levels of the organization with a combined annual operating budget of over $100 million to develop financial plans, report on financial performance, and create analysis that supports our organization.
Primary areas of ownership include but are not limited to:
- Managing the preparation, analysis and review of annual budgets, development of presentations to help summarize budget results in a comprehensive and easy-to-understand format.
- Responsible for the monthly and quarterly compilation and detailed analysis of the Agency’s financial results; prepares and presents such reports to the Boards of Commissioners.
- Prepares and analyzes consolidated financial reports at all levels of the organization; reports, monitors and manages key financial and non-financial performance indicators; perform regular financial, social service, and capital needs analysis to determine operational performance of individual properties and the portfolio as a whole.
- Develops financial modeling, financial statement analysis, decision modeling, reporting and ad-hoc analysis to support strategic initiatives; assists in the continued development of budgeting, financial forecasting, operating plan and modeling tools; develops and maintains consistent tracking mechanisms to measure performance.
