New Workforce Housing

Boulder Housing Partners has opened a new 34 unit affordable housing project in Boulder called Westview Apartments. The project located at 4600 North Broadway is specifically designed as workforce housing. The city has an inclusionary housing policy focused on achieving a goal of 10% of the housing stock to be permanently affordable.  This should allow people that work in boulder an opportunity to live their as well saving time, money, and energy usage  on commuting from nearby areas.  “Neither part of the goal has been completely met, but it’s a very significant outcome to have these units be available to live in,” said Jeff Yegian, acting housing division manager for the city’s Housing and Human Services Department. “The city is really pleased to see these attractive, affordable units come online.”
